Ou et Mon Mojo?

I think thieving pixies have been in over Christmas. They've stolen my mojo. Whereas I felt all excited and full of confidence in my work before Jan 1st, it seems its gone - vanished, vamoosed.

Because I know this is not my choice, my doing, I can only come to the conclusion the mojo pixies have been here again.

And they have friends. Fairies that fill the fridge with fattening food, resorting in my having to put washing up liquid over the mince pies and roses at breakfast this morning (Chocolate 'roses', not flowers. Even I won't eat flowers) And they've done something to every pair of trousers I have, made them smaller somehow. My January wardrobe will have to survive with the only remaining elasticated trousers - two pairs of trackie bottoms circa 2002, think Jeremy Kyle show and you have the picture.

BUT never fear.

I am praying to the mojo pixies as we speak. I have a short story to write, a novel to continue past 30k words and a LONG brisk calorie burning walk to take. Not to mention the other thirty four things on the list I wrote on Jan 1st. And just to prove I won't let the pesky varmints get me down, I'm off to change from the loose fitting dressing gown into the trackie bottoms. I'm going for that walk. Clear my head. Come back and write. Take that you little *&$**$£!

Now this will bring a smile to your face :-) Saturday's Telegraph Weekend part - front page article "50 ways to look younger" No 50! Have lots more S.E.X. Practice makes perfect so they say! How old am I ? Don't answer that one ;-) Old enough to know better. But how much is too much? TFx

Fi, when you catch up with your pesky Mojo-nabber, can you ask him to send mine back too - there's a reward and it is chocolate coated x

Naughty pixies. I think they've given me a little visit too.

You tell 'em. They've been getting everywhere.

But washing up liquid? On Roses? Even the purple ones?

That hurts:-)

Those pixies have just been round here and made me eat half a box of M&S belgian chocolates, instead of porridge. I've kicked them into touch, and hopefully they won't bother you again!

Enjoy your walk, and get writing missus xx

See, those pixies look cute but they're right rascals. It's hard to remember when the mojo bogs off that it generally wanders back again. Have you tried buying it chocolates?

Hi everyone!
Thanks to you all for popping by. Hope 2010 brings you all your wishes and a sprinkling of writerly fairy (not pixie) dust. x
