I've succumbed.
Given in.
And I wasn't even pressurised.
Just curious.
And I convinced myself that it would be good for networking with all you other writerly types.
I ignored the fact that it is also a potentially evil procrastination tool.
As if I have a shortage of those...
Anyway, for those who are interested I am now tweeting, twittering, behaving like a twit, you get the gist. Come see me at fionnualatweets?

Ooh I say, you're a thoroughly modern lady! I haven't got into this twittering lark but may have to look into it :o)
I tweet, not very proficient at it but I do tweet on occasion. I will have a look for you out there in twit land. No that was not a typo!
Ooh, you'll love it once you're in the groove. I'm coming to find you, oh yes I am...
I'll go and find you there now.
I Tweet, but not much at all as I'm never quite sure what to say.
I shall come and find you too! Tis a wonderful waste of, I mean, useful networking activity.
I'm on it too, somewhere, not that I use it much. Actually I haven't got to grips with it at all, and as I have nothing of note to say on a 1/4hourly basis or less, I don't bother much.
I did use it at Xmas though when Eurostar were collapsing at all the wrong sort of snow. And Facebook.
I think I'm called sazen on Twitter.
HI girls, will look you all up? x
