Things I Need To Do (Part One)

I really must get down to doing some writing... I've faffed about for too long now and NEED to settle back into some sort of writing routine. I so miss the days when nothing got done in favour of writing. Now, all the tedium of life is getting sorted and writing is on the back burner.

So, tell me to pick up my notebook and read the outline for a new novel I wrote in there weeks ago. I may even like it and feel like writing again?

'Fionnuala, pick up the frigging notebook...'

Okay... Note to self. Stop talking to self on line?

You'll feel better once you do:-)

Have you done it yet? Why not? Nag, nag, nag ...

Starting is always the hardest bit - apart from finishing ... and doing the middle.

I'm not helping so I'll go now.

It doesn't matter if you talk to yourself online, as long as you take notice and get writing.

Try starting by doing just 100 words and see where that takes you.

What the 'other' Debs said - so we must be right!
*get shifting, Missy - I love reading your stuff (even though I do occasionally get it muddled up with somebody else's and I wasn't going to mention that in case you'd forgotten - but I bet you hadn't, had you?)*
