And Following On From...

Yesterday?

Thought it would be fun to tell you about my latest reads using the 'Twitter' idea but I've limited myself to a lesser sixty characters. Not an easy feat! Here goes:

'The Scarpetta Factor' by Patricia Cornwall
Same rehashed stuff with less plot than other books. 5/10

'The Cellist of Sarajevo' by Steven Galloway
Sad story very well told, 3 points of view and present tense? 7/10

'Juliet Naked' by Nick Hornby
Nick, what you on? Couldn't get into this. 3/10

'Della Says OMG' by Keris Stainton
Debut YA novel. Funny, daring and brilliant 8/10

'The Rapture' by Liz Jensen
Apocalyptic tale set in near future. Beautifully written. 9/10

'Girl In A Spin' by Clodagh Murphy
Funny, topical romcom. CM writes exceptional dialogue! 8/10

'Ways To Live Forever' by Sally Nicholls
Smart clever snappy writing. Laugh & cry -a wonderful book 9/10

Ha, love it! The Nick Hornby one made me have a 'tea incident'. Belss him. He can be such a miserable, impenetrable bugger, can't he?

Bless him, I meant. Not belss him. He's not *that* bad. Sorry Nick. Love ya.
