I decided on holiday (after wailing and keening at this place on the beach one day) that I DO want to persevere and pursue this dream of being published. Lord only knows why... I'm not sure why we writerly folk put ourselves through it, other than the fact its an itch that requires regular scratching.
I've come back and after painting my daughter's room in her new flat, cleaning the tip of a house, food shopping, washing ironing etc - I'm going to write. Really. Am full of plans for current Work In Progress and actually feeling excited.
From Friday (above tedious list of things finished by then) am going to adopt a 'Nanowrimo' attitude for the rest of August and finish the first draft of new book 'Motherlove'.
Will pop in throughout Aug and give you update.
